Nokia veteran Kari Suneli joins Nixu board

The Annual General Meeting of Nixu Ltd held on May 18, 2006 (AGM) decided to continue with three board members plus a deputy member. Kimmo Rasila, Jerker Molander and Oiva Karppinen, as a deputy member, were re-elected. Kari Suneli was elected as a new member to the Board. In its assembly meeting, the Board of Directors elected Kimmo Rasila to chair the Board.
The new Board member Kari Suneli has over 30 years of experience in telecommunications and he has served Nokia the last 20 years being one of the key persons behind its success. Mr. Suneli has been the member of the Executive Board of Nokia Networks and his responsibility covered several functions like logistics, sourcing, supply chain management and partnering. Prior to that, he held a SVP position heading the Business Units like Professional Mobile Radio and Fixed Access Systems. Kari Suneli is 55 years old.
