Harri
Harri represents the next generation of Nixu experts. Harri joined the company in May 2008 and works as a consultant in the Inspect business unit. Harri is originally from Salo, and has studied telecommunications at Helsinki University of Technology.
“I joined Nixu not only to work as a consultant but also to complete my thesis on security audits and related learning environments. My goal is to help consultants and experts to train for new security inspection tasks more effectively.
In my thesis, I was able to combine Nixu’s existing methods and targets with my own studies, which include network technologies, data communications R&D and corporate security.
Technical security and security issues in general have always interested me, and I have tinkered with these issues for fun even before I joined Nixu. I was also familiar with Nixu, because one of their employees had lectured at the university. Soon afterwards, I came across a Nixu recruitment ad and decided to try my luck. The outcome was a positive surprise.
I enjoy working at Nixu immensely and have received considerable support when it comes to my work and thesis. No matter what the question is, there is always an answer on hand. The average age of personnel in our unit is relatively low, and my team is especially active, which means the working day passes without a dull moment. The customer projects also change pretty often, which makes sure you don’t get stuck in a rut.
